I’m thrilled to share my experience and success in MCT 2024-25 (Mathematics Concept Test), conducted by the All Goa Mathematics Teachers’ Association (AGMTA).
MCT is a mathematics test held for students in Standards VII, VIII, IX, and X. The MCT 2024-25 exam took place on December 8th, 2024, with over 2,500 students from various schools across Goa participating.
Securing 1st Rank in MCT 2024-25
I am incredibly happy to announce that I secured the 1st rank in Standard IX in MCT 2024-25, with a score of 98 marks.
This achievement feels like the culmination of a long journey with MCT:
- In Grade 7, I secured Rank 10
- In Grade 8, I achieved Rank 7
- In Grade 9, during MCT 2024-25, I finally reached Rank 1
Each year’s experience helped me improve my problem-solving speed, accuracy, and confidence in mathematics.
The Award Ceremony Experience
The award ceremony for MCT 2024-25 was held at Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem. All the award winners were felicitated during a glittering ceremony that celebrated mathematical talent from across Goa.
Some of the highlights included:
- Receiving the trophy
- Being awarded the certificate
- Getting the award on stage with my mentor and dad
- Meeting and interacting with other MCT winners from different schools
These moments made the effort and preparation feel truly worthwhile.
